At 7 years of age, we continue on with:
Our new course #inquiringminds A new adventure for our students aged 6-12. In the Inquiring Minds program, we follow the following steps:
1)Students choose a significant scientific question to investigate.
2)They search the space for tools that will help them answer this big question (scientific or literary books, experiments, objects, works of art).
3)They explore the language while the educator provides them with linguistic resources to delve deeper into the question.
4)The students practice and produce language while attempting to gather evidence to answer their question.
5)The students go to the Virtual & Augmented Reality corner and visit the world they are exploring (the cell, space, the jungle, the pyramids, etc.).
6)The students are evaluated based on the answers they found and the language they used.
7) The cycle is completed, and the students embark on a new adventure through the exploration of a new significant question.
At the end of the year, students present their scientific findings at the Science Fair and their projects at the Children Summit. Of course, they do so in English!
